Adv. Idit Ben Ami is a partner at the firm and the head of the firm's municipal corporations department.
Adv. Ben Ami's many years of practice have endowed her with extensive and diverse experience in advising clients subject to tender obligations, particularly municipal corporations. Adv. Ben Ami provides ongoing legal support to all organs of municipal corporations (including boards, board committees and officers), advising them in all of their activities, including with respect to tenders.
Adv. Ben Ami provides legal support for all tender related activities: drafting threshold conditions for tenders, drafting tender documents and subsequent clarification documents, preparing professional specifications for tenders, choosing selection criteria, participating in tours for potential bidders, participating in tender committee meetings, examining proposals and preparing legal opinions, acquiring regulatory approval for tenders when necessary, representing corporations before the regulator, and advising and drafting legal opinions on tender-exempt transactions.
Adv. Ben Ami also supports municipalities and institutes of higher education in tender law matters.
Before joining our firm, Adv. Ben Ami was a managing partner at Platt, Ben Ami and Co., a firm specializing in representing public and quasi-public entities. She also served as a director in governmental and public companies and as a council member of the Givat Shmuel Municipality.
